La Medida Mezcal Bicuishe

Some of the agave species are almost supernaturally strange looking. The Bicuishe agave grows in dry climate, takes a staggering 12 years to mature and has an almost terrifying beauty.
Made by Maestro Don Antonio and his son –in-law Maximino García from El Sauz, Miahuatán, this spirit flows strongly and proudly. With an alcohol strength of 48% it generates a very physical feeling of warmth and memories of hot, dry summers. The mezcals from La Medida are true to their nature as “simple spirits”. These are spirits with production methods that have been developed over centuries and which takes a deep understanding of the qualities of each agave species. The pinás from each species are very different in size and texture, and they can not be treated in the same manner. Some takes a long time to cook, other less.
