Harvested from a curving, butterfly-like shaped agave cupreata that has matured for 8-9 years in the region of San Isidro Villa de Etla, Oaxaca.
Cooked in a conical volcanic stone oven with oak and pine wood, fermented in pine wooden vats, distilled in a woodfired, copper alembic still.

Visual: Artisanal, crystalline and bright mezcal distillate.
Nose: Dry herb, floral aromas. Soft fruit, smokey.
Palate: Intensely smokey, notes of chocolate, anise, soft, velvety
Finish: Persistent flavors with aftertaste of lactic acid, cooked agave, yeasts and wood tones.
