Don Fernando is a probably a dignified, elderly Mexican gentleman in his fine white clothes with a broadrimmed hat to shield for the intense sunshine. Had this tequila been a mexican, that is exactly what he would have looked like. A polite, reserved tequila in a beautiful bottle with a spirit full of sweetness.
Don Fernando Tequila holds agave, toffee and citrus aromans with some light neutral oak. Flavours come with some gentle vanilla and maple. It has nutty, warm long finish.
A reposado tequila is a tequila which has been aged for a minimum of two months and a maximum of a one year on barrels. That is a pretty short tim to do the aging and the size of the barrel will ofcourse have a big impact on how much colour and flavour the tequila will pick up in that time.
The Don Fernando brand is aged in small barrels, which makes sure that it will get its distinctive slightly golden colour and easy notes of oak and honey.
