A reposado tequila is a tequila which has been aged for a minimum of four months and a maximum of six months on barrels. That is a pretty short time to do the aging and the size of the barrel will of course have a big impact on how much colour and flavour the tequila will pick up in that time. The Don Fernando brand is aged in small barrels, which makes sure that it will get its distinctive slightly golden colour and easy notes of oak and honey.
